Most Traders Don’t Lack Knowledge. They Lack Execution.

Entering too early. Getting faked out at key levels. Seeing the move after it happens. Not trusting your entries.

Obsidian Flow was built to solve that.

Not built
for everyone.
Built for you.

2+ Years Developing
NT8 Native Platform
Edge Retained

Most traders never see what's actually happening beneath price. They trade the surface. Obsidian Flow was built by the ones who refused to — traders who went deeper, stayed longer, and built tools that expose what the market tries to hide.

This isn't for everyone. It was never meant to be. If you're here, you already know what order flow is. You already know why it matters. The only question is whether you're ready to see it at a level most traders don't even know exists.

The Boy Prodigy

The Boy Prodigy is the DLL — the compiled framework almost every Obsidian Flow indicator, SuperDOM column and drawing tool draws its functions from. Classifying a trade against the resting quote, accumulating aggression, measuring how fast it is changing: that work does not live in twelve separate files that happen to agree with each other. It lives here, once, and each tool calls into it.

Licence access runs through it too. One activation reaches the whole suite because every tool asks the same authority whether it is entitled to run, instead of carrying its own copy of the check. Move up a tier and the new tools unlock against the key you already have — no reissued licence, no reinstall.

It is also why the Developer API can exist at all. What your strategy reads is not a reimplementation of what the indicator draws — it is the same code path. If your chart and your backtest ever disagree, that is your logic, not two versions of ours.

Support and onboarding carry the same name, for the same reason: whoever built the engine should be the one who helps you run it.

Leap Confidently.

A complete ecosystem. Each tool works standalone or as a unified system — your setup, your workflow.

01

Volume Profile

Indicator

Volume Profile anchors a profile to each trading session and keeps it there — current, prior, and a configurable run of history — with point of control, value area high and value area low marked on every one. It reads the chart's own Trading Hours template, so a session is whatever your chart already says it is.

02

Initial Balance

Indicator

Initial Balance marks the opening range, its midpoint, and extension references, and then stops. No signals, no arrows, no shading competing with your entries — just the structure the rest of the session gets measured against.

03

Time Interval Blocks

Indicator

A tick chart throws time away — that is the point of it, and it is also the cost. Time Interval Blocks shades the chart into repeating fixed-minute windows measured from the session open, so you can see how many bars packed into one five-minute block and how few made it into the next.

04

Buy/Sell Pressure by Levels

SuperDOM Column

The native pressure indicator tells you about aggression over a bar. This tells you about aggression at a price. Every level in the ladder carries its own read of which side has been taking liquidity there.

05

Liquidity Behavior Engine

SuperDOM Column

Resting size is a claim. What happens to it under pressure is the evidence. The Liquidity Behavior Engine tracks pulling and stacking at every level and renders the behaviour as bars, so aggressive stacking, spoof-shaped activity and liquidity vacuums have a shape you can recognise.

06

Iceberg Detector

SuperDOM Column

An iceberg is size deliberately hidden from the book, refilled as it is eaten. The Iceberg Detector watches for that refill pattern in real time and tracks it through to the point it is finally exhausted — which is usually the more useful of the two moments.

07

True Aggression

Indicator

True Aggression reads individual trades off a tick series and classifies each one against the bid and ask standing at the moment it printed. Trades at or above the ask are buy-initiated, at or below the bid sell-initiated. Buy and sell aggression accumulate per bar and plot as two lines with their signed difference underneath.

08

Aggression ROC

Indicator

Aggression ROC plots the rate of change of initiative rather than its level. Aggression that is high and steady and aggression that just doubled in four seconds look identical on a level read and completely different here.

Professional & Above Learn More →
09

True Aggression Profile

Indicator

True Aggression Profile rebuilds the session profile from individual trades rather than from bars — and then stacks two more layers on it that no volume profile carries: bull and bear aggression per price level, and the rate of change of initiative per price level.

Professional & Above Learn More →
10

True Aggression Divergence

Indicator

True Aggression Divergence runs the same aggression oscillator and then compares its confirmed swing pivots against price's. When price makes a higher high and aggression makes a lower high, that gets drawn and labelled — regular and hidden, bullish and bearish.

Obsidian Flow Developer API

Framework

The order flow engines behind the indicators are a NinjaTrader-UI-free service layer. Developer Early Access gives you the interfaces directly, so a strategy, a Market Analyzer column or your own SuperDOM column consumes exactly what the indicator draws — the same code path, not a reimplementation.

Strategy Series Adapters

Framework

Non-visual indicators whose only job is to expose the computed order flow values as plain numeric series. Strategy Builder sees them in its Indicator Value dropdown like any other indicator, so you can build a condition on aggression or on a profile level without writing C#.

Two types of
traders exist.
Which are you?

The Surface Trader

Reads price. Follows indicators. Wonders why their setups keep failing at the worst moments. Blames the market.

The Obsidian Trader

Sees the iceberg before it surfaces. Reads the spoof before it fools anyone. Watches institutions stack and pull in real time — and is already positioned before price moves an inch.

Starter is going to grow.

VWAP, a trade detector and market profile are all intended for the entry tier and none of them is built yet. We would rather say that than imply otherwise. Anyone who joins Starter keeps the rate they joined at as the tier fills out — so the price you pay today is the price you pay when it is worth more.

This is the founding release.

The suite ships with fourteen tools. It is not finished, and we would rather say so than pretend a first release is a final one. Here is what is already built and waiting, and what is being built now. No dates — you can hold us to a list, and a list is worth more than a promise we would be guessing at.

In development

Designed into the framework, engines under construction. These are the basic order-flow tools, and they are coming to every tier — not held back for the top one.

  • VWAP with standard-deviation bands Session and anchored, built on the same tick classification the aggression tools use.
  • Footprint Bid and ask volume per price, per bar, from the same engine rather than a second pipeline.
  • Imbalance and inventory Stacked imbalance detection, and running net exposure across a range.

Shipped since the first build

Both were finished and held back so the first release stayed small enough to support properly. They are in the tiers now, at no change in price.

  • TA Zones Aggression zones projected forward from the levels where initiative actually changed hands. Professional and Developer.
  • Volume Profile drawing tool Drag a profile across any range by hand, at any timeframe. Included from Starter up.

Everything above is included in the tier you buy today. Founder pricing is a rate, not a bundle — it stays with you through every release, and new tools unlock against the licence key you already have. No upgrade invoice, no reissued key, no reinstall. Buying at the founding release costs less than buying after it, and gets you more.

Custom work,
on your specification.

Alongside the suite, we take on development work for traders and desks who know what they want built and need someone who already understands order flow in NinjaTrader.

NinjaScript development

Indicators, SuperDOM columns, drawing tools and strategies built to your specification, in the platform you already trade.

Strategy implementation

You bring the rules. We turn them into a working, testable NinjaScript strategy with the entries, exits and filters you specified.

Backtesting & validation

Strategy Analyzer runs set up properly, with the sample-size and look-ahead problems that make most backtests meaningless checked for and reported.

Developer API integration

Wiring the Obsidian Flow framework into your own tooling, so your code and your charts agree on the numbers.

Signal & execution architecture

Routing signals to an execution layer against official, documented broker APIs. No screen-scraping, no unofficial endpoints.

Enterprise & desk licensing

Multi-seat deployment, custom entitlements and support terms. Priced on the engagement, never off a pricing page.

You bring the specification. Client specifies and we implement is software development. Us designing the edge and handing it over is trading advice — a different business, and not one we are in. The same code sits on either side of that line depending only on who decided what it should do, so we are explicit about who decided, every time. No performance claims, no account management, no guarantees of outcome.

Secure founder access before the public release.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need NinjaTrader?

Yes. Obsidian Flow is built specifically for NinjaTrader 8.

Is this beginner friendly?

No, and it is not trying to be. Obsidian Flow is for traders who already understand market structure and want to improve execution using order flow.

What markets does this work on?

Primarily futures — ES, NQ, 6J and similar — but anything with enough liquidity and a tick feed will work.

Do I need a special data feed?

The True Aggression tools read individual trades, so your provider must supply tick data for the instrument, and they add a hidden 1-tick series to the chart. The SuperDOM columns need live depth. The Starter chart tools need neither.

How many machines can I run on?

Starter activates one machine, Professional and Developer two. You can release a machine yourself if you change hardware.

What happens if my internet drops?

Nothing, for a while. Your entitlement is cached locally and keeps working through a grace window, so a dropped connection mid-session does not lock you out of your own charts.

What does “founder” actually mean here?

The first 100 subscribers pay a permanently lower rate for as long as the subscription runs. It is a separate price, not a discount that expires — when the list price rises, yours does not.

Is there a trial?

Yes, on every tier. Seven days on Starter and Professional, fourteen on Developer Early Access. A card is taken up front and the subscription cancels itself if the trial ends without one.
